PHRENOS will participate in the pilot implementation of the developed interventions in health SMEs in the Netherlands, as well as the cluster randomised controlled trial to evaluate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of the intervention.
Prof. Jaap van Weeghel is the Scientific Director of PHRENOS. Vocational rehabilitation and destigmatisation of mental illness are two of his main areas of expertise. He was a co-author of the multisectoral guideline for employment and severe mental illness, and chaired the committee that developed the national action plan for the treatment and recovery of persons with severe mental health problems.
Dr Chrisje Couwenbergh is a psychologist and has been involved in many policy and implementation projects related to the recovery and social inclusion of people with severe mental health problems, including coordination of the development of the national action plan for the treatment and recovery of persons with severe mental health problems.
Lars de Winter is a researcher and data-coordinator at Phrenos. He has been involved in several research and implementation projects related to rehabilitation, recovery and social inclusion, including assembling and coordinating outcome data monitoring on a national scale for all individual placement and support (IPS) programs in the Netherlands. Furthermore, his main area of expertise is in the execution of meta-analyses and systematic reviews.
