NRCWE will contribute expertise in psychosocial workplace aspects, mental health problems, and workplace intervention studies, by contributing to the development of intervention components related to stress, burnout, depressive symptoms and wellbeing, as well as the evidence base on barriers and facilitators for the intervention.
Prof. Reiner Rugulies is a Professor of Psychosocial Work Environment and Health at NRCWE, as well as Adjunct Professor of Public Health and Adjunct Professor of Psychology at the University of Copenhagen. His main research focus is on examining the association between psychosocial working conditions and risk of mental ill-health, in particular depression.
Dr Birgit Aust is a Senior Researcher at NRCWE. Her research activities are in the area of work environment and health, in particular, intervention studies in the workplace. She has also published several guidelines for practitioners and workplace consultants.
