On August 24th-27th, 2022, Prof. Ella Arensman and Dr Evelien Coppens, on behalf of the MENTUPP consortium, flew to Copenhagen to present the MENTUPP project at the 19th European Symposium for Suicide and Suicidal Behaviour (ESSSB).

Prof. Ella Arensman and Dr Evelien Coppens provided an overview of the MENTUPP project and introduced the preliminary findings from the MENTUPP Pilot Study during the ESSSB Symposium “Building a strong, healthy workplace in Europe: psychological perspectives and insights from H2020- funded Sister Projects”. Researchers from our sister projects, Dr Beatriz Olaya (EMPOWER), Ms Carla Dei (Mindbot) and Mr Mattia Chiappini (Mindbot), also presented their interventions to promote mental health in the workplace.

The Symposium was well attended by researchers and clinicians interested in improving mental health and promoting mental wellbeing in the workplace. Discussion centered around tailoring materials for the workforce, implementing workplace interventions, and the challenges faced by the projects during the COVID-19 pandemic.
